The Theme is DARK FAIRY TALES!

I used Ike's Wonderful "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears"

I made a fat page (4 X 4)

Goldilocks' eyes are very intense, and I immediately thought about Mr. Spock and his mind meld, and movie people trying to hypnotize others. so that is what I did.

I made her eyes a glowing blue when I colored the image(PRISMACOLOR pencils and blending pencil)

The background and the "brain wash" image both came off the internet, and the brain wash image is actually a logo for a company in the UK...not sure what they do or sell. I printed that image out twice, and cut them out, glued one down flat and raised the other above it on foam tape.  I used copper metallic paint pen as a squiggle over each of the bears heads and as lines coming from Goldilocks' eyes. Then I made my computer generated sentiment "MIND CONTROL makes everything JUST RIGHT!"

I finished it off with copper German scrap in Gothic point, all around.

Here is my effort, using Tracy's Alice in tea cup image

This is a 6" x 6" square easel card, card stock, markers, and scalloped circle punch by STAMPIN' UP. Printed paper, and details (bugs, blossoms, swag, cards) all from the "Aurelie_Alice_ en_Musique" set from DIGI DESIGN RESORT. The bugs, blossoms, and queen cards are up on foam tape. The sentiment is computer generated.  Of course the "Alice in Tea Cup" image is from THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE.

I made some of the flowers into eyeballs and made fangs on the under belly of the big mushroom

 I made "Bite Marks" around the scene.

 Eyes on this mushroom, and a fanged mouth on the stem.

The ripped Queen of Hearts cards on foam, hold the easel card up.

Here is my offering

I used the MOON image from Bugaboo's Skelekinz collection.

  The Goth/Emo part for me, in addition to the image is the very gothic looking paper from OCTOBER AFTERNOON. Also the colors I used. Teal, Purple, Lime, Black, and of course Red. it was so hard for me to get a picture close to the right colors. The flower is actually a dead-on match to the teal in the girl's bkgrd. The top ribbon is purple. All Card stock and markers are from STAMPIN' UP. Ribbons from my stash and the flower is from PRIMA MARKETING.
