All card stock by STAMPIN' UP, Embossing folder by Tim Holtz for SIZZIX. Image colored with PRISMACOLOR pencils and blending pencil. Sentiment and Punch by STAMPIN' UP. Silk Flowers by BAZZILL, mini flowers by PRIMA MARKETING. I used Liquid pearls by RANGER all over the place. The punch started out with just dots at the curves, but my got in it, and smeared so I had to add more all the way around.

This is a Fat page (4 X 4)

The background paper is Old computer stationary...I knew it would be perfect for this!

I drew in my own bark, and knot holes etc on the tree (which does not look that orange IRL.

On the inside edge of the page I used a woven strap, as the drawing is just part of the tree it drops off, like it should be framed and on a card that would be cool, but for this I had to improvise. on the outside Edge I used German scrap from ARTchix STUDIOS. The sentiment is computer generated. The lady and tree are colored with PRISMACOLOR pencils and blending pencil.

The Pit and the Pendulum

Today I made another fat page for my Poe book. 

I watched Vincent Price in The Pit and The Pendulum. 

Then designed my plan from the Movie! 

This is the Challenge this fortnight over at  

Quoth the Raven, Nevermore

Here is my entry!!

I think everyone else probably went with a pendulum, and I thought about making a swinging one to have in front of this, before I had the whole design in my mind, but I decided against it. I like being different. :)

So I went with the main torture room, and the sitting iron maiden, that dear Elizabeth gets locked in 

and left forever, and her previous "Wall of Internment" 

and from the Pit/Pendulum room the creepy reapers on the wall.

it is a combination of painting, paper, digi stamp, rubber stamps and hand drawing.

Paper -I believe it is older BASIC GRAY, Brick wall stamp by LAYERS OF COLOR, Flying skull stamp by BOMBSHELL STAMPS, The Criss-cross stamp is by SMEARED INK 

(from the Quoth the Raven set). Scared Eyes is a digi stamp by SMEARED INK.

Black and gray paint for the reapers, fine line black sharpie also, 

and red stickles by RANGER for the eyes. The sharpie used to make the name plate and her name, 

with copper stickles. Copper paint pen for a cut in view of Elizabeth's fear inside the iron maiden.

SHARPIE white poster paint pen for skull, and silver paint pen for the wings.

STAMPIN' UP markers for the flesh and eyes of Elizabeth.

Card stock, Paper in the background, and the majority of her dress, markers (gray for the mouse and pink ONLY for the heart in her tail, black and brown for her shoes) all from STAMPIN' UP.

EVERYTHING ELSE is Paper pieced with paper from my scrap pile. I pieced her legs with the pink paper and then used the markers to color over the pink for her shoes. Even her tiny nose, smile and the inside of her ears are pieced.

THE GAME Challenge #1-- TicTacToe

Hello and Happy Sunday everyone!

I have two challenges this Sunday,
My one for Robyn's fetish (will be posted next)

and the BRAND NEW CHALLENGE BLOG... THE GAME

I am very proud and nervous as this was my baby, I've been nursing it for months, and now it is standing on it's own! LOL

Please check it out, and join in the fun. This Challenge blog is for ALL types and ALL styles of ART, and open to those 18 and older ONLY. Therefore you will see an adult content warning before allowing you on the blog...no worries we are virus free, porn*, and spam free.

(* there may be nudity in art form, but it is not going to be a porn site)

Here is the Board we were to use for our TIC TAC TOE choices:

 I used the top horizontal row- ribbon, flowers, and staples.

Card stock by STAMPIN' UP, the embossed piece was received as a RAK, I tore it in half. Ribbon from my stash, the staples are very small as they are from my Tiny Attacher by Tim Holtz for RANGER. I used it for attaching the horizontal piece of ribbon, attaching the bow, and making the ruffled vertical line. The flowers are old and from my stash. the Butterfly is a sticker 

by MRS. GROSSMAN.  The gem swirl is by MICHAEL'S (and received as a rak) The wonderful vintage collage image is from DEZINAWORLD. The sentiment is computer generated.

another page to my mini dark journal

I haven't worked on this in ages...I had started the bkgd. and knew what I wanted to do with it, but hadn't acted on it. Today I finally did.  Those of you who have been around a while might remember I am doing 2 of these in this size, one to reflect me in my dark times and one for my happy times.
The pages are all 4 x 6, and most have something that hangs over the edge(side edge)  not all pages but most.

THE GAME

This is a Bi-weekly challenge blog. We are also a bi-monthly swap blog.(this won't start for a while) Where everything, and every theme will have something to do with a game. All types of paper AND other crafting is allowed and encouraged; hand drawn/painted, collage, sewn, Stamped, digi stamps (all digital work MUST be printed and be actual tangible work, with at least 2 "real" embellishments of some kind), mixed media, even cakes and other cooked or baked goods could be in the challenge; based on that particular challenge. 

it is open to ALL art forms and styles.

stamping, digital stamping, photography, collage, abstract, painting, chalk, fabric, sewing, needlework, journaling, mixed media etc.

styles can include: cute, dark, humerous, elegant,silly, simple, intricate, nudity and adult content etc.

art can be cards, ATCs, 4 x 4's inchies, twinchies or deco squares, pillows, wall hangings etc. cakes etc...ANYTHING you create

****because ALL art is encouraged it has an adult warning on it...so no worries when you see that.

I invite you to check out  THE GAME, meet our DT and see that our first challenge will be on Sunday.
