OWH Independence day Blog tour day #3 (edited)

Has been interrupted by the American emergency broadcast system!!

My apologies, the men returned early with a dog!  Tom's dog Pico, was originally going to come, but then they thought splitting the dogs up would lead to depression on both their parts, Mary even asked my opinion and I told her I agreed. It was decided she was keeping both dogs.  The last I heard. (Mary is the reason they were more than 24 hours early coming back, she was too upset to deal with Tom and his stuff, I'm hurting for her, but break up's do happen)

Neither MAN, thought about calling to forewarn me that the dog was coming, not that it would have changed things, I would have just liked to know.
The cat was coming, and I was not too keen on that, as he is an aggressive cat.  well having both a new cat and a new other species in the house, My cats are now totally messed up, fur flying(my allergies thank them), I've been scratched numerous times,  and I have almost been knocked over twice.(leash and cane)  The animals sensed a familiarity about us, but still needed to get acclimated. They bought a new rope toy for Pico and Tom said, "Mom, play tug-o-war with Pico"  Well most of you know about my left wrist and my right elbow, and both shoulders.  Let's just say this was a BAD MOVE, and Vicodin has been my friend! (I should have worn my brace) So between the Vicodin and the Benadryl, I've been Horizontal, and still a mess. ARRRGHH!   I didn't even go see the fireworks, but I taped the Boston Pops on TV.

SOOO>>>I am extending my candy one day,  and will be adding the cards I was going to add to this post later today!  PLEASE COME BACK!! :)  I am sorry.

In the mean time a little something to look at!

As you have probably figured out by now I am a GREAT fan of Revolutionary history, and therefore a great fan, of the HBO Mini-series "John Adams." (I am equally a fan of "The Patriot" and "The Crossing")   all of these wonderful historically accurate films, can be rented (netflix etc)  "John Adams", I believe is 3 disks.
