DAY 18- 31 Days of Halloween, Countdown to halloween, Real witches of Halloween

Scroll down for my ALL HALLOWS GRIM POSTS(3)

Welcome to Day 18 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN, as well as day 18 of the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN, and Day 18 of THE REAL WITCHES OF HALLOWEEN.

from now til the end of the month I'll be sharing images some funny, some otherwise. (my countdown)
Are you having fun???!!!! I hope so :)

Todays artistic creation is a set of my haunted houses for a swap on one of my Yahoo groups. we were to start with a 4 x 6 piece of chipboard and make 13 houses (14 if we wanted to give one to the owner of the shop, that the group is for) 6 in one style and 7 in the other...I did 14 so 7 of each (actually 16 as I made 2 for myself...not photographed yet)...I knew I was going to use them as part of my 31 days so I made sure I stamped one image on each, otherwise these are mixed-media/collage.

so here are the first group of 7- the balcony, center window, and right-side basement window are actually cut out:

First, the one on the left above is the one I made for the shop owner, the shop--ARTchix Studios, owner-Helga. We had to use at least one of her collage images, and one art bit. from left to right:

The "boo" on the balcony, skull in the window, ghost girl outside, and creepy owl eyes in the basement window are all from ARTchix STUDIOS. The art bit is the Masonite window. The yellow is card stock I coated with 3 coats of Glow-in-the-dark MOD PODGE. The wording is from an ALPHA STAMPS collage sheet. The background paper is photographed weathered wood, I do not remember the brand. Then I used Fired Brick Crackle Paint by RANGER, and a Black and Silver SHARPIE. The stamp-Small Coffin from Dead Necessities by BOMBSHELL STAMPS.
next- same design, wood paper, Old Paper Crackle paint by RANGER, the black and silver SHARPIES again. and i used dark leopard print tissue paper crumpled up in little balls and MOD PODGE for a rough roof. The Bat skeleton in the window, jack-o-lantern by porch, Creepy woman looking up at the moon in the old house outside, and the eyes in the basement window are all from ARTchix STUDIOS, as well as the Masonite window. The small girl witches on the balcony is from another collage sheet that I rec'd as a RAK. The Raven Stamp is from ALPHA STAMPS.
third-  wood paper, old paper crackle paint, all images, and Masonite window all from ARTchix STUDIOS, wording from Collage sheet from ALPHA STAMPS. Web stamp from Web Wishes by STAMPIN' UP
on the left-  wood paper, old paper crackle paint, Witch in window, jack-o-lantern, extra vines that I cut off the women image,  "haunt", "enchanted" and Masonite window all from ARTchix STUDIOS. Ouija Board image from DEZINAWORLD, and black cat is from ALPHA STAMPS, There is Rock Candy Crackle paint by RANGER over the witch in the window. the sharpies, glow-in-the-dark MP, and the web stamp by STAMPIN' UP.
on the right-  paper is a tan with  grassy jungle-looking irregular and random squares all over it, Fired brick crackle paint, sharpies. Jester on Balcony, witch in window, "Spooky" and gold keyhole from ARTchix STUDIOS, creepy doll in window from that RAK sheet, black cat and wording by ALPHA STAMPS, as well as the Raven stamp.
on the left- please forgive the glare, I was rushing for the photos as to get them in the mail. Nosterfu image (at the top) from ARTFUL ILLUSIONS, creepy doll on balcony from RAK sheet, the glary image in the window is a skull by ARTchix STUDIOS, as well as the tiny "Hocus Pocus", tiny jack-o-lantern by porch, and the "Rise and walk with me" by Nos. The Masonite door is also ARTchix STUDIOS, the monster eyes in the basement are from an old Frankenstein image off the same collage sheet as Nos by ARTFUL ILLUSION. Again web stamp by STAMPIN' UP. The creepy doll and Nos are both covered in Rock candy crackle paint by RANGER. (it is almost empty I am so sad)
on the right-   Back to the wood paper, the dark leopard print tissue paper, crumpled-mod podged roof, web stamp and sharpies. The moon, cemetery angel head, creepy weeds, as well as the Masonite window are all from ARTchix STUDIOS. The Little witch is from ARTFUL ILLUSIONS. I do not remember where I got the one eye image from in the basement window. Reminder all the yellow windows etc are coated in Glow-in-the-Dark MOD PODGE.

Tomorrow you'll see the other 7, which the house style is a bit different

This was a fun yet stressful project, kind of like doing the 31 days, LOL!

hey Susan, I noticed your question on Alex's blog about the SBS 12 tags. Betty did answer your question in the comments on the day you asked. No, you don't have to use SBS stamps. xxD
