Hello, we're getting STEAMY today at SMEARED and SMUDGED
You should have arrived here from Lady Brayton's blog(sniffing Glue Dots) and if you didn't start at the beginning, that is fine because I am last on the list so head over to Terra's blog (more Smeared and Smudged)
This month's theme is Let's get Steamy- Create something STEAMpunk :) and of course there must be stamping on it somewhere!
I made an ATC:

This month's theme is Let's get Steamy- Create something STEAMpunk :) and of course there must be stamping on it somewhere!
I made an ATC:
Flights of Fancy
I took several views, as there is some "shiny" components and I wanted you to be able to see everything there was to see.
The background paper is olde world paisley design, that I have in my stash in pieces, I do not remember who it is from. sorry. The French ad, which I believe is for some type of Tobacco product, but is steampunk-y due to all the Balloons etc. on it. is from DEZINAWORLD The swallow is on Foam and I rec'd it as a RAK, The cogs are punched from Mirror card stock and coffee cup sleeve(tiny corrugations) using the cog punch by STAMPIN' UP. I used Crystal Effects also by STAMPIN' UP on all the balloons and derigible, as well as the cog I placed around the swallow's neck. I also placed it on the box of "tobacco product" and the thin line of french advertising at the bottom.
My "Stamping" is simply direct to paper through a piece of punchinella down the side, and then I turned the punchinella over, and pressed the wet ink from the punchinella onto the card also. I used MOMENTO Tuxedo Black ink.
If you missed ANY of the member's blog that are participating this month...the list is right there to the left!
Thanks for visiting :)
