An UPDATE, 2 cards today & info on a giveaway!

Hello a quick update:
MOM--in the rehab part of the hospital. She says yesterday was her best day so far! she sounds like herself :)
RON--Back to work, laser treatment done, vision slowly returning her is at about 80%
TOM-- still dealing with pain, I think he may have to see a urologist
ME--back to my "normal level" of pain, but having the increase in the wrist (as I have been) now sinuses acting up a bit not sure if it is a cold, sinus infection or just a bad bout with my allergies.
MANY, many THANKS for all the good wishes, prayers, thoughts and healing energy!!

Card stock and sentiment - STAMPIN' UP, German Scrap- COLLAGE STUFF, the digi image Flight of Fancy bu FLOPPY LATTE DESIGNS was printed on a transparency. I turned over for the shiny side out, so the image is reversed. It is mounted on a piece of paper towel that has dried water and twinkling H2O's all over it (from cleaning my aqua flow brushes)... I sooo LOVE how it came out! It is attached with brads from MAKING MEMORIES.

This shows that it is a transparency

A Floppy Latte Product Design creation

Hello and Happy Monday!  (you can make it Happy if you want to!)


Here is an Image from Floppy Latte Designs, that I made into a lovely Christmas card to be used on her store for the image.

 A few views due to shine  and crackle, and some close-ups

 This is a 5.5" square card, made on BAZZILL card stock, the Printed paper is unknown.

I tore a square i made in half, I used half on the outside and the other half on the inside. The lower right corner of the front of the card is folded up and glued in that position.

 The Image was colored in with PRISMACOLOR pencils and blending pencil, then punch out with a 3.5" circle punch by MARVY-UCHIDA, it is attached with foam tape to lift it up. I then covered the image generously with Crackle effects by RANGER. The Noel stamp is by STAMPIN' UP, I used SU's metallic Gold pigment ink to stamp it, and then Pirate's Gold EP by STAMPENDOUS. I edged the card with Metallic Gold Poster Paint Pen by SHARPIE. In the flower centers I used Stickles By RANGER on two, and a swirl sequence from SKYBLUEPINK on the 3rd.

 All the flowers, gold leaves and the gold star are from PRIMA MARKETING. 

 The ribbon is from my stash.

The sentiment inside is a freebie that I got from DESERT DIVA

Floppy Latte's Digital Designs now has a Store Product Design Team Good Morning all!  Glad to be able to visit with you for this special weekend edition of the Floppy Latte's Digital Designs Newsletter! I would like to introduce the New Store Product Design Team at Floppy Latte's Digital Designs.  You will notice slowly over time that some great images are being added to the Product Pages at Floppy Latte's Digital Designs store.  These lovely creations are put together by the Store Product Design team that is now in place!  Their creations will give you inspiration as to the many ways that the digital products at Floppy Latte's can be used to create stunning cards, hand crafted gifts and more!  So without further ado, here are the two talented ladies! Stef H.   My name is Stef a/k/a Glitterbabe. I'm the sparkly one. glitter, glitz and bling! the more of it, the happier I am. I'm a retired legal assistant and got into stamping back in 2001 when I was invited to my first home-stamping party and I've been hooked ever since. I used to tell all my friends that I am only afraid that when I die hubby will sell all my craft things for what I TOLD him I paid for them! that would just kill me!!!! oh yeah, I'm the funny one too and I am absolutely delighted to be a part of the FLOPPY LATTE DESIGN team! Using the New Snowflake 3 Digi Stamp!  I love the cool blingy colors (Stef is famous for her bling!) And here is her festive creation with Happy New Year 1, my newest Digi at Floppy Latte's Digital Designs!  The champagne in this card looks good enough to partake in!  And that Backer Paper is so festive!  (I think Stef is gonna keep this card in her stash!) Now Let's Meet..... Susan I am 51, an MRI Technologist by profession, but am now disabled. I have been an artist in many forms since childhood. I've been stamping on and off since I was about 30. It became serious after going to a STAMPIN' UP workshop in 2002. I loved it so much I signed up to be a demo, and I was until 2009. I still enjoy their stamps, and those of other companies as well. I use digital stamps too, but to be honest my heart is with rubber (especially unmounted). I have a VAST collection of digital stamps, and in fact have to move them to flash drives to free up room on my computer. I am married and have 3 grown children. They are "bouncers" in that they have moved out and back a few times. LOL! Mostly my son, he is back with us now. I am an animal lover and at the moment have 1 cat of my own, and our grand-cat and grand-dog (we've told our son the dog stays when he moves out again...my husband is quite attached...which is truly a first. I am attached too). My disabilities are mostly physical ones that started out as injuries. But since the last injury (on-the-job) got infected with MRSA and I lost bones etc. (lost the ability to work in my field and elsewhere really). I am dealing with Post-traumatic depression and anxiety. Art and art or craft work, is therapy for me, in many ways.My life isn't great, but it is what it is. My youngest daughter stamps some and scrapbooks also with me. I was on a design team for a Scrapbook store here in NJ, that is now closed, called The Happy Scrapper. It is the only design team I have ever been on. However I have won several L/O contests in Scrap booking. Recently my work is becoming noticed in challenges on the Internet, and I actually won one with that awesome "Happy Fall" image card (Image by Robyn, The blog I won on- stamping for the weekend)!! It is nice to have a few "I won" badges and "I made top 3" badges on my blog now. I would like to add that I entered the most challenges EVER in the month of October and committed to, and followed through on THE largest challenge in the arts in my life of; "The 31 Days of Halloween" (sponsored by SnS) and created something stamped (or digi stamp) EVERY day for Halloween During the month of October. I am so glad to stop being fearful of rejection and put my work out there!   I am honored to be a member of the DT for the "I Did It Creations" challenge blog (Robyn's Fetish Digi Stamps). Now, I am honored and flattered to be a product Designer for Floppy Latte Designs. I TRULY LOVE Jess's images, she is a woman of great talent!     I would like to say Welcome to the Floppy Latte's Digital Designs Store Product Design Team to these two wonderful and talented ladies!     Happy New Year  1 Digital Stamp! I chose to use the "Poinsettia Frame" I cut the frame out, and used it as a window card, for an old Victorian Christmas postcard image.  I LOVE this Digi, and I know I can use it in Future years without running out of great ideas... a photo, a poem or even just a message can go in this frame, whether I leave it white or cut it out!

 I took a few snaps to show different things on this card! The patterned Card stock I used for the background is  very shimmery as you can see.

 Sadly I can not tell you who made this lovely paper as I received it in a "paper exchange" It is silver and gray and I knew it was the PERFECT paper to use with this AWESOME Digi

 The card stock for the card is Night of Navy by STAMPIN' UP. Both the navy organza and metallic silver ribbons are also from STAMPIN' UP.

The Poinsettia Frame  from FLOPPY LATTE DESIGNS was colored with PRISMACOLOR pencils and blending pencil.

The poinsettia flower and leaf are from PRIMA MARKETING, and in the center of the flower I used Yellow Stickles and Yellow Liquid Pearls both by RANGER.

The lovely Victorian Collage image is from DEZINAWORLD.
