Halloween Tags ( for a swap)

I was recently in a Halloween Tag swap, and decided to share my creations with my bloggy friends!

These are the BIG tags, 3 1/4" X 6 1/8"...we did NOT have to put a hole in them or add strings, ribbons etc.  It was optional, so I OPTED not to.  To give the receiver the opportunity to use the tags how ever they chose. It was a 6/6 swap, but I made one for the hostess and 2 for me.  ALL the tags have areas that glow in the dark!

I used the "Rocking Horse" image for my card

I used markers and Card stock from STAMPIN' UP, Printed paper by K&CO., Postage Stamp punch by EK SUCCESS, Bottle, duckie and heart dies by CUTTLEBUG, and crystal brads by MAKING MEMORIES, and the digi Rocking Horse image is by THE CRAFTY PAD DESIGNS...at the moment the digi sentiment escapes me, but I THINK it might be from Desert Diva...not positive.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #99- Easel Cards

Happy Sunday! Our daffodils are up, and some Hyacinths, and the pollen is striking already! LOL  :) The weather this past week has been wonderful!...MY kind of weather...sunny and hovering around 70...a couple days were very windy, and a couple of days it was overcast and a bit of rain but the temps were mild. It can stay between 68-78 all year, and I would be thrilled! I hope all of you are fine, and not too many hangovers out there following St. Pat's day!  We had a lovely corned beef and cabbage dinner. ( I LOVE corned beef) I hope you all enjoyed St. Pat's day in whatever fashion you like to.

ok, let's get down to business :)

This week at
ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE BLOG

we are making EASEL CARDS,
using wonderful images from our sponsor:
FRED, SHE SAID

The winner this week will receive
a $10.00 voucher for the Fred, She Said store.

Here is my Big, small easel card using the adorable EMMA & ROSEY Image

This card measures 5.5" X 5.5" when folded flat. card stock, ink and marker by STAMPIN' UP. Patterned paper by K&CO. Circle cut using my CREATIVE MEMORIES cutting system. Flourishes are the Tim Holtz for SIZZIX die. FRED, SHE SAID Image is colored with PRISMACOLOR pencils and blending pencil. Border punch is by Martha Stewart for EK SUCCESS. Sentiment is an INKADINKADOO stamp, and hand written. (Together is the best place to be!) The wonderful 3D self adhesive flowers are by SANDYLION. I used the corners of the printed paper on the outside with foam tape to hold the card open, and the other 2 corners are the opposite end on the inside, flat. This is a great correspondence card.

PLEASE come join us this week over at
with your EASEL CARDS!

just a quick piece of art

Something small I have worked on in between Mom and other stuff.
This is for the challenge this week over at SMUDGY ANTICS.

The theme is RED HOT!

I made a 4 X 4 (fat page/chunky page)

The flame image is from the internet. The Devilish Heart digi is from SMEARED INK. The Red foil Gothic point German Scrap is from COLLAGE STUFF. The 3D plastic black flourishes with rhinestone are Jolees for EK SUCCESS, the Red Ribbon Roses are from "Dollarama" and rec'd as a RAK. The letter stamps are TECHNIQUE TUESDAY. I colored the Devilish Heart with PRISMACOLOR pencils, and I used Red Stickles by RANGER on the words "Love, Red and Hot". It says "Love should be RED HOT always"
(NOW, I can really see hot bad  the lighting is in my Living room, as the photos clearly show places I missed withe pencils, LOL...Please let me get a "steady work area" so I can actually USE my Ott Lite! LOL)

Bloody Valentine Blog hop 2012, day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of The Bloody Valentine Blog hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged! You should have arrived here from Jennifer's blog.  If you get lost along the way, or just stumbled upon this hop by visiting my blog, the entire list of Hop members is on the left. I suggest you start at the beginning, you'd don't want to miss anything :)

I have 2 offerings to share today. :) First a creepy ATC

The digi Ghoul image is from IKE'S WORLD, and I used the brick wall stamp from LAYERS OF COLOR.  I printed the "Kiss Me" on transparency. I colored it all in markers by STAMPIN' UP. The arrow photo turn is by 7Gypsies, I used a medium black brad. the gems are by Martha Stewart for EK SUCCESS.

Next is a creepy candy stash holder:
It is a paper mache Coffin, I painted it thickly with gesso, and made it lumpy. (except for the area where the lid would fit over) I painted it pink when it was dry, and then with tan and brown, and with a wet paper towel I dabbed at it to make it look like it was covered with dirt, as in an exhumed coffin. the textured heart is a homemade stamp someone gave me, that was cut from a flip-flop (cool tip there)
I then used a gold SHARPIE poster paint pen. (too liquidy now) to go along the top edge of the coffin lid, and to put a name on top. "B Luddy (Bloody) gone too soon"
Here is the lid slightly raised so you can see the difference.
The inside of the lid (inside the coffin is the same way.
