DAY 15- 31 Days of Halloween, Countdown to halloween, Real witches of Halloween

My post for ALL HALLOWS GRIM, which is actually 3 posts (3 parts of a story) is 2 posts down.

Welcome to Day 15 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN, as well as day 15 of the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN, and Day 15 of THE REAL WITCHES OF HALLOWEEN.

 Well, here we are at the half way point. You know what that means. You don't? Well it means CANDY of course!  This is Halloween season, so there has to be some mystery, right? So, I will not be telling you what the candy is, but I will tell you there is some REAL candy as part of it, chocolate as a matter of fact. The winner will be chosen tomorrow, and announced at the end of the month. (the reason for this, who can guess?.....well, if I am having a half-way candy, I guess I am having a finished candy as well) How do you win, you want to know? I'll tell you. The single individual who has commented the most on all of my 31 days of Halloween posts(which are also my countdown to Halloween posts) wins! Starting with day one and ending with (and including) today's post. I am only counting the comments that were made within 24 hours of the post. (so going back and posting now, while a nice gesture, will not help)  Good Luck!

The picture below, while fuzzy depicts how it opens, like a Gate-Card, but each elements is attached to opposite sides.

a few of cards for friday

I haven't been feeling real great so my mojo is down a bit, but here are a couple of cards I've made over the long weekend, and this past week. This first one is going off in the mail to a friend, the next is for OWH. And the last is for fun! HA!

 Apricot Appeal card stock by STAMPIN' UP, orchid and eggplant card stock also from STAMPIN' UP, Markers by STAMPIN' UP. all other papers from stash. Stamps from "Happy Healing" retired STAMPIN' UP, flower punch by STAMPIN' UP, Hand made roses and rosebud, hand cut leaves. Sketch design is a sunburst, altered by me and made my own.

Like I said, this card is going to Operation Write home, that is why it is sort of plain, and flat.

Card stock and Markers by STAMPIN' UP, Digi image and sentiment by SMEARED INK, brick wall and gears embossing folder by Tim Holtz for SIZZIX. Metal is  (Manco brand-purchased in Walmart) HVAC Industrial strength ALUMINUM FOIL TAPE, it is self-adhesive. I peeled the backing off and applied it to card stock, before using the embossing folder. after embossing, I used a paper towel to dab and smoosh black paint all over it, then I took a new paper towel, wet it, wrang it out, and wiped the paint off lightly. When it was dry I used a sanding block to lightly sand most of the paint off. On the brick wall embossed card stock i used cat eye fluid chalk ink in Chestnut Roan by COLORBOK and wiped on the colored to be picked up by the bricks. Misc. foam dots under the robot, eyelets, gold paint pen, and silver paint pen

I haven't decided but I might send this card to Operation write home also
